Prof. Ir. Endra Joelianto, Ph.D., SMIEEE

Short Bio

Endra Joelianto received a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia in 1990. He received a Ph.D. in Engineering, from the Australian National University (ANU), Australia in 2002. Currently, he is a professor of the Instrumentation, Control, and Automation Research Group, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia, Head of the Artificial Intelligence, Control and Automation Laboratory (Faculty of Industrial Technology, Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia), and Director of the Center for Sustainable Transportation Technology Development (Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia). His research interests are hybrid/discrete event control systems, advanced control, artificial intelligence, intelligent systems, cyber physical systems, intelligent transportation system, sustainable transportation technology, and precision farming. He is the recipient of several awards. Dr. Joelianto is a senior member of IEEE.

Ying-Pin Tsai, Ph.D.

Short Bio

Ying-Pin Tsai received his BS degree from the Department of Physics at National Changhua University of Education, Taiwan, in 2014. He completed his MS degree at the Graduate Institute of Photonics, National Changhua University of Education, Taiwan, in 2017. Subsequently, he obtained his Ph.D. degree from the College of Photonics at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Taiwan, in 2023. He was an adjunct assistant professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Chin Yi University of Technology, and the Department of Photonics, Feng Chia University. Currently, he works as a postdoctoral researcher at National Changhua University of Education. His research is primarily based on Multiphysics simulations using the finite element method (FEM) and involves neural network applications, and his recent research interests include holographic display systems, diffraction elements, and applications in silicon photonics.
